if you're going to be gone for any amount of time, post a thread here letting everyone know what's up. or if you'd like to chat with anyone, this would be the place to do so. be nice to everyone and things should go smoothly.

this is where you put in a bunch of hard work to make your beloved character. try to make it as personal and as deep as possible because, in my experience, that's when i make the best characters. do whatever you want, though. the template's inside.

this is the board that houses all of the members' accepted applications. you can look at these for inspiration and ideas. i'll keep them unlocked so you can go back as you need to, to make alterations and whatnot.

you don't want to end your ass up here. it's boring and has a lack of drugs. if they're just not up to par, i'll send a denied applications here. it's rare, though. i suggest you look over the applications that weren't accepted so you know what to avoid.

your character(s) are allowed to have as many horses as they can manage. there's a short application template to fill out. no need for it to be accepted since horses can't really be unrealistic unless you didn't read the rules, so you can use him or her as soon as the application is posted.

any animals other than horses that belong to your character should be created in this board. you have to do this in order for you character to have them; no pretending in this part of the board. be realistic. there are no perfect pets. there's a short application for you to fill out. i promise it's simple!

find your character's lovebug! with a thorough wanted ad and a catchy title, you're sure to find someone interested in your character. who knows, you may even become the couple of the month!

chat your characters' little asses off within this realm. you'll be communicating with some of the hottest men and women (and trannies) in california. river wind is renown for having some of the most intelligent people as its staff, so you'll hardly be bored.

the good old relationship board. find lovers and haters on this portion of "river wind farm." this site is all about different forms of relationships, so you really ought to make one in order to stay active on the site. then again, it's your choice. just consider it.

keep all of your horses' information here, your list of tack and feed, as well as all the threads you're currently in. it's not a necessity, but i highly suggest you take advantage of the opportunity and try to stay organized. this is a new board!

your character will live in a sub-board. you can create a thread inside whenever you want. you'll live in a building according to your character's gender and status; staff housing, male dorms, and female dorms. have a block party while you're at it and do a little bit of drinking. just don't get caught!

there are tons of things to do around river wind farm. there's a huge jungle gym at the front, while the back as a tire swing attached to an old oak tree. find yourself reminiscing on childhood fantasies while you play tag around the bonfire, roasting marshmallows.

there are plenty of barns here to suite your needs. the stud barn, of course, because not all stallions can be housed around mares and geldings; the breeding barn for mares in heat or ready to foal soon, as well as the young horses under three years of age. and then there's the huge barn for mares and geldings. they're all air-conditioned and heated.

there are plenty of trails here at river wind farm to suite your fancy. some are short 30 minute trails, others can take an entire day to go through. like i said, there are over 15 trails at rwf. it's very likely that you'll find something to give your horse exercise on. have fun and be safe!

the indoor arena, the two outdoor arenas (one made for jumping [it holds several types of jumps which you can change the height on], the other created), a couple of round pens/lunging rings, a good-sized corral, and that's about all anyone would ever need. there's also a pool in here for the horses. i don't suggest you swim in them yourself. yucky, though they are cleaned regularly.

rolling green fields of clover and sweet grass, horses feel very "at home" here in california. neighboring fields of the fences are five feet high and are made of solid oak. no electricity being used at all. gates are made of stainless steel and are encouraged to be double-latched each time a rider removes a horse from or adds a horse to the paddocks.

this is the main school in sacramento. most of the students at river wind farm go here during the school year since rwf is only open as a residential camp during the summer. it's just like a regular school except a hell of a lot nicer. the kids can practically get away with murder...

a seriously gorgeous place to either buy a pool and have it landscaped, or even just have a day at the spa. over twenty pools with beautiful decor and plant life is sure to calm someone down after a long day a the barn, or treat yourself and spend the day here. it's worth the price.

this hot spot is basically just a very high class bar. everyone sips their champagne and cosmopolitans while talking about their latest successes, lays, and of course the latest gossip stories. but in the back, they're snorting lines and popping klonopins.

the place itself is low-key, and quite small. service is not fantastic, and the place tends to get very crowded in the evenings, especially in the summer--but they know what they're doing when it comes to being high class. the teahouse also offers high quality persian tea and all sorts of beverages.

this sophisticated venue is captured in a 1946 art deco building, which served as a social gathering for postwar vets for nearly sixty years. avalon designers have maintained the history through preserving its art deco design. with over 10,000 square feet, the venue has two rooms presented with a modern south beach miami flare, with one room serving as a bar & ultra lounge with entertainment.

get your lover something from here. there are more stores than you could even imagine. this place is huge. you can get practically anything here. it runs from eight in the morning to ten at night. most of the bags are eco-friendly, too. you can even buy weed here!

norcal equine rescue "ner" is a nonprofit charitable organization. we are dedicated to preventing cruelty to equines of all kinds: horses, ponies, mules and donkeys. ner was founded in 2003 on the belief that if everyone does what he or she can, then much will be accomplished.

happy tails is a no-kill facility dedicated to protecting and improving the lives of homeless and abused animals. needy animals are rescued, nurtured, and provided shelter and medical care (including spaying and neutering) before being placed in loving homes.

uc davis is one of the nation's top public research universities and is part of the world's pre-eminent public university system. the campus is set in the heart of the central valley, close to the state capital. as one of the last "small-town universities," we cherish our close relationships on campus and within the davis community.

overrun with various types of junk food and unsafe carnival rides, the state fair is a well-known enterprise for horse showing and even racing! there are art exhibits, too. various shops run along the indoor arenas, while the outdoor area is filled with roller coasters and scramblers. there's even wine!

there are multiple sub-boards beyond this board. random things like when you're out in the country just driving around, going to cemeteries, and even dark alleyways. drug deals also go down in these parts because of the odd locations.
